How to avoid shopping queues? Google Maps functionality to monitor store traffic remotely from your phone

To try to avoid large queues in the shop you can remotely check average store traffic or even monitor in real time when there are fewer people in a given store. This feature you can find in Google Maps.

The function is available both in Google Maps mobile application and in web the browser version. It works only for shops. To check the traffic in the given shop you need to find it and select in the Google Maps application. The window appears with information about the address, opening hours and with the popular hours in which the shop has the largest number of customers.

Today, this feature doesn’t work for all shops and all geographies. But eventually it will be improved.
